Network & Routing
All servers are located in the London Hosting Centre - Docklands. Key to our network, our core routing facility from Gyron Internet provides us with redundant, extensive premium bandwidth including 20gbps to LINX.
Power & Security
All of our servers use dual APC master switches which provide us with current monitoring, alerting and remote network management, ensuring a consistent flow of power without unnecessary downtime. For security, we use Cisco Catalyst 4948 switches and secure our network with a self-defending system encompassing Cisco hardware firewalls and intrusion prevention systems. The systems in place monitor network activity and traffic to provide pro-active defence against threats.
Server Hardware
We use enterprise grade Hewlett Packard DL380G7 servers with two hex (6) core processors, DDR3 RAM and hardware RAID10 with 16 SAS drives - providing the very best in disk and CPU performance. Any faulty hardware is replaced within 1 hour of indentification.
Redundancy
We believe that near 100% uptime is only possible when combining enterprise grade hardware with ultra redundancy. Every component, where possible, is setup in a redundant manner - including, hot-swappable power supplies, hot-swappable fan tray with redundant fans, redundant power, disks, memory, BIOS, switches, routers and bandwidth.
